There is nothing like experiencing the NYC art scene live and in person. Let Debbie Wells give you the insider’s perspective as we visit approximately 5-7 art galleries in a two hour session. Destinations include: Chelsea, Madison Avenue, 57th Street, SoHo, Lower East Side – depending on the best art on view at the moment. Enjoy a curated itinerary filled with lots of artful surprises in an easy, walkable art-filled area. Itinerary and meeting place information are sent via email shortly after registration.
Cost: $100pp each session

Want to see the best art on view from the comfort of home? Have a one hour virtual gallery hop throughout New York and beyond to London, Paris, Hong Kong, Los Angeles…anywhere! There are no limits to where we can go because it’s a totally virtual experience. We even cover cultural sites and landmarks in every area. It replicates the in-person experience, but with the added benefit of flexibility and convenience.

Inspired by the Monet's popular immersive experience in NYC, get an in-depth understanding of the Impressionist artist's life and his art in an entertaining one hour webinar.
FRIDA KAHLO CRASH COURSE
FEBRUARY 27 - MORNING 11AM-12PM - Cost: $40pp
Inspired by the current exhibition at the Parrish Museum in Water Mill, Southampton, Kahlo: an Expanded Body, this webinar focuses on the artist's complicated physical and emotional life reflected in her paintings. We also explore Kahlo's family, relationships and her interest in fashion and cultural heritage.

Artist couples ranging from spouses to lovers to siblings to friends are all explored in this fun webinar that looks at the relationships that brought these creatives together in the most interesting ways. Some of the artists include: Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock, Gerson and Judith Leiber, the Osgemeos twins, Gilbert & George, Mary Cassatt and Edgar Degas, and Pablo Picasso....and everyone!
ASHCAN ART & TRIANGLE SHIRTWAIST FIRE OF 1911
MARCH 23 - MORNING 11AM-12PM - Cost: $40pp
In honor of the anniversary of the historic Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire of 1911 (March 25), and Women's History Month, this lecture explores the NYC immigrant experience from many angles. First, the Ashcan School of Art showcased everyday life in NYC, especially the Lower East Side. The art set the tone as artists depicted the bustling streets of a combination of grittiness and beauty. What makes this lecture unique is the story of Annie Nicholas, an ancestor of Debbie's family, who died at age 18 in the Triangle fire. Learning about her life and experience that fateful day adds a fascinating understanding of that time in history.
